Rebecca Ross’s A River Enchanted is a book you can get lost in. Taking place on a secluded Celtic-inspired island brimming with magic, restless elemental spirits may threaten everything. If you can love vibes and setting a little more than plot, you may love this as much as I did!

I’m not sure any final book in a trilogy will be able to top this. The way Brandon Sanderson ties up the entire Mistborn trilogy with The Hero of Ages has solidified me as a Sanderson fan. Books one and two, though very good, are so much better with the revelations and developments that The Hero of Ages brings us. The Mistborn trilogy is one that I always find myself thinking about.

Sue Lynn Tan’s Daughter of the Moon Goddess is a roaming Chinese fantasy epic spanning an undiscernible amount of years (we’re dealing with immortal beings here people) with an abundance of mythology, love triangles, and magic. I love the writing, expansive world, and ever-engaging quests.
